Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care is the “first call” resource center for information about hospice, palliative care, and advance care planning services in Minnesota. The Helpline is answered during business hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Education for the Community & Professionals
Staff and trained volunteers are available to conduct public education programs about end-of-life issues and options. Program length, content and format can be adapted to fit each group’s needs and times schedules. A variety of end-of-life resource materials are available to program participants.
Conversations That Matter
Focuses on preparing for difficult health care decisions. Participants learn about how to:
- talk with loved ones about wishes and preferences
- create an effective health care plan, and
- communicate the plan to doctors and other health care professionals.
Hospice is a Special Way of Caring
Answers the most commonly asked questions about hospice care: What is hospice and how is it different from other kinds of medical care? What service can hospice provide? Who is eligible? How are services paid for? How does hospice support family caregivers?
“Living with Hospice”
A poignant documentary by award-winning producer Daniel Bergin and co-produced by Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care spotlights stories of families, patients and caregivers and their experiences with hospice. Their stories provide the viewer with a rare opportunity—to hear about dying as a time of comfort, acceptance, love and healing.
