We are now accepting breakout session submissions for the 2012 Minnesota Hospice & Palliative Care Conference, being held at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Hotel – Mall of America Sunday, April 15 to Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Share valuable and insightful information with attendees from across Minnesota and the Midwest!
Breakout sessions for the conference must address a varied audience consisting of physicians, nurses, managers/directors, social workers, spiritual care/bereavement professionals, therapists, volunteers, volunteer coordinators, and home health aides.
Sessions are 75 minutes in length, with time incorporated for Q&A. Sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday. We are particularly interested in breakout sessions that address the following topics, however proposals on other subject matter are also welcome.
- Team Building
- Self-care
- Grief/bereavement
- Palliative Care
- Regulations
- Hospice Care

Speakers will receive complimentary conference registration the day of their presentation and mileage reimbursement at $.50 per mile. Speakers staying for lunch are asked to pay $25.00 to cover lunch cost; payment can be made when speaking session is confirmed.
