The Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition of Minnesota (PPCCMN) is a collaboration of professionals and community representatives who want to improve pediatric palliative care in Minnesota. PPCCMN serves over 1,200 Minnesota children living with a life-limiting or terminal condition who could or who do benefit from pediatric palliative care services.

PPCCMN includes representatives from the following facilities and institutions:

A goal of PPCCMN is to be a unified voice for providers offering pediatric palliative care. PPCCMN works with community networks throughout Minnesota including the Twin Cities, Duluth, Rochester, Alexandria, and St. Cloud.

Concurrent Care: Reimbursement for Providing Care for Children

This course will help Hospice clinicians to better understand concurrent care legislation as part of Health Care Reform and how it applies to children. T. Resources will be provided for more information on the legislation. Discussion on how to describe pediatric concurrent care to families will be reviewed. Case studies and discussion will allow for participants to bring their own questions and needs in this area to be addressed.

Meeting the Need: Learning to Support Families Who Have a Dying Child in Your Neighborhood

Most people want to stay at home when they can, even when they are dying. This is no different for a dying child. This short webinar will discuss important differences between adult and pediatric hospice care, provide resources for support and further education. It will talk about cultural differences in hospice care and provide communication techniques which are helpful.
